Utopha for Africa

Utopha for Africa

Our commitment continues in support of the Luisa Guidotti Hospital (supported by the Marilena Pesaresi foundation), in Mutoko Zimbabwe. We thank dr. Massimo Migani, who is spending his life supporting this community located in one of the most disadvantaged areas of Sub-Saharan Africa. The structure has in fact become a health outpost and a point of reference throughout the territory. We also thank dr. Morganti and dr. Bologna, who helped us to get the drugs to their destination and they do their utmost in this laudable initiative. We count, compatibly with our strengths, to increase our participation.
In recent years, we have been victims of those who exploited the flows of migrants for political or commercial reasons, inducing hatred, leveraging the malaise of the crisis, and news stories. We want to vehemently rebel against this hypocrisy. We want to protect our moral safety from those who push us for ease and indifference. We are deep supporters of legality, and of the means necessary to support it, but those responsible for western social problems must be sought among those who govern us not in the populations of poor countries. We want to distance ourselves from those who want us to believe that helping others means being deceived. We want to rise from social mediocrity and shout that there is no better demonstration of humility and greatness than doing something for our neighbor.
